I haven’t been woodworking in probably 6 months or more.
Lots of reasons like lack of focus, will or even lots of distractions (volunteering at the kids school, blogging, rss reading, nearly anything else).
Anyway, after the woodworking show I finally got the urge again and have been in my shop 4 days in a row and have been making some good progress on a blanket chess that I hope to finish some day for our entry way. It’s out of cherry and will have 2 drawers and a center storage area.
Right now, I’m very excited about it. I have one more glue up to finish and then it’s time to cut boards to size (though i need to get some other wood for interior that’s not cherry). That will be some exciting stuff. I’ll take pictures of that for sure.
