I don’t know how many places have Ikea furniture (I imagine lots) but it’s basically European style furniture in kit form that is in a big warehouse.
We decided to get some new furniture to clean up what was become quite a mess in our living room. You see, our living room has become our music room. We have had a piano in it for a while and with our children taking piano lessons it has become quite the busy room. I also started guitar lessons over a year ago and have taken over a bunch of space for some gear and will probably need more over time. We wanted the room to still look nice but remain functional for the uses we have carved out.
Also another bookshelf was getting warn so we decided to replace that.
Overall it was a successful though frustrating trip. The success was that we got the stuff we needed. The frustration came from the fact that we had Xander and Mitchell with us and were short on time so really didn’t get the proper amount of time to make sure that we found the RIGHT thing for us. I think the latter is probably just part of the warehouse experience.
