I mentioned that I was updating my desktop. I just wanted to update you all since that was taking a bunch of my time.
I finished that work and everything is up and running. Now I’ve got some normal life stuff to catch up on and as Kathy has mentioned to me – STOP SPENDING MONEY! Other than that, everything else is good.
I’ve got 2 systems I use.
My mac powerbook is set up for interacting with the web. Email, calendar, contacts, IM, browsing, posting to my blog, and such.
My windows desktop is setup up for doing some web browsing, iTunes (for my iPod), music (and other media) management, video editing (soon to get seriously underway), and some actual code development.
Neither are cutting edge but both are serving needs pretty well. I suppose dual core will be next but not for a while.
