Apple has decided to recall over a million Sony manufactured batteries today.
The only reason that I mention it is that it affected me. I have a Mac Powerbook and had one of my 2 batteries match the numbers needing recall. Kathy helped me (cause I was busy with other stuff) get on the Apple web site and get the appropriate forms filled out so we get the new battery. Apparently, it took quite a while because as you can imagine they were getting slammed after the announcement.
It will take 4-6 weeks before the new battery will get here which sucks but at least I have a 2nd battery.
