Many of you may not care but the underlying software for my blog (what you are reading) is a software program called WordPress. It is an open source software application freely available with lots of features. The people who work on this put a lot of effort behind it and do an excellent job.
Well, they just released an update (ok it was a week or two ago) and so it was time to update my system. These things never go entirely smoothly though. One of my plug-ins (the one that tells me how many users are online) isn’t working right. I’m communicating with the author of that plug-in and I’m sure we will work through the problem. All the other things seem to be up and running so I’m in good shape. I believe that this update was mostly about security and stability so there are no new features for you as the reader or me as the writer.
