Kathy and I were updating our playlists.? We had bought some new songs so we need to adjust them for that but Kathy wanted to remove some too.
In doing that though, I found at that my parallel system of putting tags into the Comment Tag of the actual music file was not working correctly.?
First thing was to fix the bits that were not adding and removing the tags but doing the right thing for the playlist.? Man, that took some debugging but I think I found all the errors there.? The next thing was to add a new feature that could take an existing playlist and rebuild the Comment Tag pieces.? This feature could fix errors but could also allow a manually built or adjusted playlist (in another program) to still be applied.
For long playlists and big music directories, these features are very slow and take quite a lot of time so be forewarned in using them.
