I’ve been working as time permits in putting more switches and outlets in and programming them.? The technology is UPB which uses the existing power line to communicate to each other and perhaps to a host system.
All but 2 switches have gone in fine.? Programming has been somewhat frustrating but not because programming is hard (that part is tolerable though not simple because of the UI mostly).? It is because signally over the power bus is problematic to a couple of the locations in my house.? I have an electrician coming out in a few weeks but I hope to have much of the grunt work done before they get here so to minimize the hourly charges (they are expensive).
I have coupler in the system but have read that more than one can help so maybe that might be an idea?
I have high hopes for this system!
