Tomorrow we should have the last bit of work on our automation extravaganza that we’ve been progressing through over the last month.? I’ve been (and I think I’m finished now) replacing all the old X10 controlled switches and outlets with UPB controlled switches and outlets.? I’ve also been learning and programming the switches and outlets.? I’ve been prepping the programming for my alarm getting it’s upgrade too.
Tomorrow is the day the alarm gets it’s upgrade.? It acts as the computer brain for if/then statements and timer statements.? I hope it all goes well – it should given all the pre-work I’ve done.
Of course, the weather folk are predicting a major storm tonight that may lose us power so that may throw a big wrench into the whole thing.
