We are off to Spring Break!
OK, it’s more like we are off to visit my folks who happen to live in a big place that is really popular for Spring Break so it almost sounds cool! Of course, it would probably sound cooler if we were likely to party or golf or some such thing. But instead we are going to be the ever cool family vacationers and hang by the pool, maybe go to the water park, go to a festival, dine out a bunch, and hang with my family.
Now probably the best part is that it is quite the rejuvenation trip. We have been hovering around 50 deg F for daytime highs in the Pacific Northwest with upper 30′s or low 40′s for our nighttime lows. Well we are heading to the Palm Springs area and it’s got nighttime lows that are the same or maybe even a smidge higher than our daytime highs. And of course the daytime highs are in the upper 80′s and sometimes in the low 90′s. This is awesome stuff.
I hope everyone has a good Spring Break whether you go anywhere or not (we usually don’t).
UPDATE: Mitchell caught a bug/virus that Xander had earlier in the week. For Xander it was only a 24 hour thing so hopefully it is for Mitchell too. Mitchell doesn’t have the fever that Xander did so maybe it will go away quicker. I’m not a doctor so it’s hard to tell. Of course having this on our travel day is no fun for him and is a big no fun for us. Our baby is sick – that is such a bad thing!
