Reorganized my workshop

I mentioned in an earlier post that I bought some new tools from the local woodworking show. This causes problems. You see, I have a very small shop so that means that I have to find ways to fit the things into my shop.

Whenever I tackle reorganizing my shop to fit things into it, I also review what I have in it to see if there are things that can be thinned out – in order to make room. My big purchase was the FesTool Domino which replaces a Mortise Tool that has had little to no use because it always seemed more complicated that my research had led me to believe. The FesTool on the other hand, is a much simpler item.

I also wanted to see if I could make some space to try and use some other equipment, my FesTool worktable, better. It has a bunch of jigs and such that I don’t usually have attached because they are in the way of other things like cabinets. I moved the cabinets and now I should be able to experiment more with this FesTool worktable. That should be fun!

I hope to get in the shop more as the weather turns warmer. It could be a great summer!
