We had a bit of a storm pass through. It caused the typical wind and power outages.
Unfortunately, this time it caused an issue with our furnace. I tested it out a bit. The furnace gets flame and heat but the fan doesn’t turn on so no heat goes to the rest of the house from the furnace. We’ve had this issue once before and had to replace the blower. Because we’ve had this issue before, we also purchased electric heaters last time so we got them out again. Of course, you have to carfully position them on different curcuits or they blow breakers which is a pain. We only have 3 of the heaters going but that is enough to keep the house pretty warm in the fall weather for now (daytime in mid 50′s F).
Hopefully they can fix it for us on Monday. Wish us luck!
