We have a friend who is a professional photographer. She doesn’t profess to be an expert on all things camera but she does know her camera really well and what she likes in pictures.
She is steering us towards cameras with F2.8 rather than higher numbers so that we can do better with less light and also need flash less. This is what she likes but it is also what we would like too. Of course, a lense similar to what Kathy has now but with a lens with F2.8 characteristics winds up being quite expensive. I guess that is about quality and maybe what we should have gone with in the first place.
I hope that we can find it before we leave on our trip!
