I’ve been busy working on a project to import all my old blog post entries into MacJournal. It is taking a while because the format for import is not the same as the export for WordPress and so takes a lot of manipulation with the output. If I was more effective with Automator or another form of macros, maybe I could have gotten this done without so much carpal tunnel issues but …
I should have it done in a day or two and then MacJournal will be fully engaged. I’m liking the new software for more than the reasons than I gave in earlier posts. Additional reasons are the ability to export in a more readable format and archival format – this is very cool for protecting your work which is something I’ve always worried about and Ecto didn’t provide.
