I tried a new theme today but I’ve since taken it down. My problem with some themes is that I like the basics but the authors do such a great job at putting technology into them that they make it hard for people like me to come along and customize them a bit more.
The author of the theme that I tried thought they had put a lot of customization features in, and they did but not the ones I wanted to try.
I still like the theme (iTheme) that I am using after my minor customizations.
